I'm sure glad that the presenter balanced his presentation by discussing artificial gravity via tethering & spin-up. I've listened to too many presentations that discuss the litany of health problems caused by weightless without giving fair consideration to what could be a fairly solution.
I agree. There are solutions.
And since NASA doesn't intend to send humans to Mars until the 2030s, significant funding for artificial gravity habitats for interplanetary travel really doesn't have to occur until the early 2020s.
